VCARE project lab tests at a start
The VCARE technical lab tests have just begun in Valencia, Wien and Karlsruhe pilot sites. This project, funded by the European Commission within the Horizon 2020 framework, aims to create a link between rehabilitation care in hospitals and discharge at home, promoting a seamless, customized and engaging healthcare solution, that enhances the quality of life of neurological and cardiological patients (affected by Stroke, Parkinson Disease, Heart Failure and Ischemic Heart Attack) while handling risk management. This first technical stage, held in cutting-edge labs, will be followed by the living lab stage, to be carried out at Casa Di Cura Privata Del Policlinico and involving a group of patients in a controlled environment, to test the running of the Rehabilitation Virtual Coach.
